The Renovation of the Church Bathrooms Begins
Thank you for enduring the difficulties with our bathrooms and waiting for a long time. We are finally renovating the bathrooms. From Monday, 29th of January, construction will begin. We were worried because the construction schedule overlapped with the special 3-day seminar, but it was decided that it would be too difficult to adjust the schedule, so we are proceeding as is. The renovation is expected to last for about a month and we expect there will be many inconveniences experienced.
Firstly, two male and two female portable toilets will be installed. It will be very inconvenient because it is a portable toilet. If you find the portable toilets too uncomfortable, please walk out further to use the indoor toilet located at the Vision Centre (located at 33 John Street).
Secondly, parking in the church parking lot will be restricted. Because the passage from the church to the parking lot has to be blocked, we expect that the path between the church and the Tree of Life Hall will be more congested. Therefore, during the construction period, only those who park before the first service and move their vehicles after 2pm can park there. So, we will open the Vision Centre parking lot during this period so more people can park there. There will be no parking attendants to assist at the Vision Centre, so please park in an orderly manner, starting from the inner lawn. Despite this, parking will be insufficient and difficult. We ask shepherds and shepherds wives to please park on the streets beyond John St.
Thirdly, during the construction period, entry into the construction site will be prohibited, except for those involved with the construction. To block access, a fence will be installed around the restroom and skip bin. We especially ask parents to provide special safety training to their children. The church will not be responsible for any accidents that occur within the construction site due to unauthorised entry. If volunteers are required, please enter the site after obtaining permission from the construction manager (Shepherd Jacob Kim).
We ask for your joyful cooperation for one month so the renovation progresses well and without any accidents. Although there will be some inconvenience, please smile and encourage those who have dedicated themselves to working on the renovation.
