The Three-stranded cord Prayer Meeting involves three people pairing up to share prayer requests and pray together. For past 2 years, we have moved the prayer meeting from the early morning to the evening, and it has been a great blessing.
Shepherds and their partners are requested to help the house church members find prayer partners this week. While the principle is to group up with someone of the same gender, opposite-gender groups may be permitted with the shepherd’s approval. Prayer partners can be people beyond the house church members; you can pair with anyone you wish to pray with or who is in need of prayer. Please avoid pairing up with other shepherds or their partners, and instead focus on partnering with those who need prayer or whom you wish to pray with.
During the prayer meeting, prayer partners should share their prayer requests in advance, either by meeting or through a messaging app. This way, during the meeting, you can focus more on prayer and less on sharing. If a prayer partner is unable to attend the meeting, each person should pray individually. When praying, start by praying for the prayer partner's requests. Identify about three prayer requests related to your spiritual growth, life, and relationships, and inform your partners about these requests.
The selected book for this prayer meeting is ‘Think Ahead’. It is available as an E-book in both Korean and English.
