2025 Passion Week Special Early Morning Prayer Meetings
Starting this Monday, we will begin our Special Early Morning Prayer Meetings for Passion Week. During these meetings, we will meditate on the passages from the QTin devotional and pray together in unity. The QTin devotionals are specially designed to help us deeply reflect on the Lord’s cross during this Passion Week. May this once-a-year opportunity become a precious time of grace as we reflect on the suffering and love of Christ.
To participate well in the early morning prayers, it’s important to manage both your schedule and your physical condition. Even the healthiest person will struggle if they go to bed late—this can hinder the effectiveness of morning prayer and make it physically difficult. Please try to go to bed as early as possible. Also, this week’s Wednesday Prayer Meeting will be replaced with the early morning prayer in order to stay focused on Passion Week. Light breakfast will be provided for those heading straight to work.
This week, we want to especially pray in unity for those who are suffering. We will be lifting up those who are hurting due to war, natural disasters, and hardships in the mission field.
If your house church member is going through difficulties, or if any members are facing trials, encourage them to join and pray together. Let's also focus our prayers as a house church on the VIPs—those in our groups who have not yet encountered Jesus personally. Let’s pray that they would come to know Him during this time. Then, on Easter Sunday, let’s invite them to church so that we can celebrate the joy of Jesus’ resurrection together.
If your family or workplace is facing challenges, bring those needs before the Lord in earnest prayer. When we reach the limits of our own strength and effort, it’s then we truly need God’s help.
Lastly, for the singles in our church, this week is the United Single’s Camp. Over 100 singles are expected to participate. What’s most needed, more than any other preparation, is prayer. Let’s pray earnestly that this will not just be another event, but a powerful time where young adults personally encounter God.
