When we do not earn what we pray for we need to search our hearts.
We need to check if what we are praying for is a self-centred heart trying to fill up our greed, or if it is a heart hoping for God’s will to be fulfilled on this earth.
God is always look at the centre of our hearts, so when we pray we must do this with a heart which is not arrogant, but instead humble.
God does not answer anything which can become a poison to us.
I hope you search your heart to check what kind of heart we are praying to God with.
Passage: James 4:1-10
1 What causes fights and quarrels among you? Don’t they come from your desires that battle within you?
2 You desire but do not have, so you kill. You covet but you cannot get what you want, so you quarrel and fight. You do not have because you do not ask God.
3 When you ask, you do not receive, because you ask with wrong motives, that you may spend what you get on your pleasures.
