As believers, we have received the calling of the gospel, therefore we must be alert at all times. We must pray that the doors of evangelism will be opened and that we will have the opportunity to share about the gospel with others. As salt brings out the taste in the foods we eat, we must speak and act in a wise way.
Let us consider whether there are any words or actions that are blocking the door of the gospel.
I pray that the Holy Spirit will guide me and help me realise if there are any part of my life that brings disappointment to non believers without me realising.
Passage to read: Colossians 4:2-6
2 My goal is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete understanding, in order that they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ, 3 in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. 4 I tell you this so that no one may deceive you by fine-sounding arguments. 5 For though I am absent from you in body, I am present with you in spirit and delight to see how disciplined you are and how firm your faith in Christ is.
6 So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him,
1.Did you think about Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2.What is God’s message to me?
3.What do I need to be obedient to?
4.Write a list of thankful prayer points today.
