When God called Jeremiah to be a prophet, Jeremiah tried to avoid this, saying he could not do it by giving excuses such as his situation and his state at the time. Then God told him, ‘Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you’
God loves us, and wants us to achieve beautiful and great things through our lives. I hope that we do not consider our worth to be low, but instead have pride that we are God’s children, and I also hope that instead of being afraid of our surroundings and other people, we will be able to rely on God to live our lives.
Passage: Jeremiah 1:1-10
6 “Alas, Sovereign Lord,” I said, “I do not know how to speak; I am too young.”
7 But the Lord said to me, “Do not say, ‘I am too young.’ You must go to everyone I send you to and say whatever I command you.
8 Do not be afraid of them, for I am with you and will rescue you,” declares the Lord.
