God awakens the Israelites from their sins so that they can become God’s people again. For this, God speaks through Jeremiah. Likewise, the starting point of us reflecting on ourselves and correcting ourselves is through the word of the God and listening to His voice.
The word of God convicts us of our sins and allows us to know the existence of God and His grace and love for us. We must be able to look back on ourselves through the word that is given to us. I hope that our lives can be restored by the word of God that is given to us today.
Passage to read: Jeremiah 2:29-37
30 “In vain I punished your people; they did not respond to correction. Your sword has devoured your prophets like a ravenous lion.
31 “You of this generation, consider the word of the Lord: “Have I been a desert to Israel or a land of great darkness? Why do my people say, ‘We are free to roam; we will come to you no more’?

2.What is God’s message to me?
3.What do I need to be obedient to?
4.Write a list of thankful prayer points today.
