A Christian is not someone who races against people, but rather someone who races against horses. Therefore even if we, as Christians, face hardships, we have to use all our strength to have faith in God, use all our strength to pray, use all our strength to serve and use all our strength to love other souls.
This is why we have to focus on God’s grace working in us, and I hope that through living in this grace, our lives all participate in His work.
Passage: Jeremiah 11:18-12:6
5 “If you have raced with men on foot and they have worn you out, how can you compete with horses? If you stumble in safe country, how will you manage in the thickets by the Jordan?
6 Your relatives, members of your own family— even they have betrayed you; they have raised a loud cry against you. Do not trust them, though they speak well of you.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
