The Word Which Allows Us To Overcome Disappointment
As we try to live for the mission God has called us for, there will be lots of disappointments. Problems which are faced with a human’s small mind and weak will will not be solved.
However the Word is God’s power which allows us to overcome disappointment. I pray that we will receive the word that was given to Jeremiah, which allowed him to recover happiness and joy again in a situation where he was going to face disappointment from his enemies.
Passage: Jeremiah 15:10-21
15 Lord, you understand; remember me and care for me. Avenge me on my persecutors. You are long-suffering—do not take me away; think of how I suffer reproach for your sake.
16 When your words came, I ate them; they were my joy and my heart’s delight, for I bear your name, Lord God Almighty.
