Today, God prophesies that on the day of salvation, the idols and fake prophets that they worship will disappear, and the true shepherd would appear to them and [wash away their sins and filth].
In doing so, God had been telling what would happen on [the day] he provides salvation.
God informs us of what is to come on [the day] through his prophets, and [he hopes that we keep our faith till the last days to achieve salvation].
At what state is our faith now? Are we enduring hardships and persecutions before God?
I desperately hope that we will be refine before God, and pass his trials, so that the Lord will become our God.
Passage to read: Zechariah 13:1-9
8 “In the whole land,” declares the Lord, “two-thirds will be struck down and perish; yet one-third will be left in it.
9 This third I will put into the fire; I will refine them like silver and test them like gold. They will call on my name and I will answer them; I will say, ‘They are my people,’ and they will say, ‘The Lord is our God.’ ””
