Preparation for the 308th House Church Seminar for Pastors
We are hosting the 308th House Church Seminar for pastors. Unlike the seminar for lay leaders, this seminar will take place over 5 nights and 6 days from Tuesday to Sunday at the church. Through your service, churches can be established in a healthy manner. This seminar will be conducted in both English and Korean, as pastors from Fiji will be attending.
The team leaders for the seminar have been chosen from the village leaders and team leaders. The teams are organized as follows: Overall Coordination (Head: Kim Chang-dae, Deputy: Yoon Young-ok), Administration (Ko Byung-guk), Protocol (Song Sung-hee), Transportation (Choi Sun-woong), Intercessory Prayer (Jo Yang-hee), Decoration (Kim Jong-yong), Video (Shim Sang-bo), Media (Yi Se-ri), Translation (Yoon Young-ok), Praise (Kim Han-na), and Testimonies (Hong Moon-il). Team leaders will support and assist each Village in serving on the designated days.
On the days of the seminar, service will be provided by Villages. The responsibilities for each Village include kitchen meals, serving, guidance, coordination, media, transportation pickup, and environmental management. Please check your Village group and prepare to share responsibilities accordingly.
The schedule and responsibilities for each Village are as follows. ( ) indicates the leaders for the day. Leaders should ensure that service duties (kitchen meals, serving, guidance, coordination, media, transportation pickup, environmental management) are assigned and prepared for their designated day.
- Tuesday (Kim Chang-dae): Welcome dinner and opening worship; form and serve as a united team
- Wednesday (Lee Sun-wook): Green Village, Martyrdom Village, Love Village
- Thursday (Kim Sung-won): Fruit Village, Joy Village
- Friday (Lee Sang-eun): Peace Village, Dawn Village (1/2), Obedience Village, Faithful Village
- Saturday (Jeong Seong-moon): Happiness Village, Pure Village, Dawn Village (1/2)
We need many helping hands for the seminar. In particular, we are looking for individuals who can commit to serving continuously throughout the week, regardless of their Village affiliation. If you can help with meal preparation, serving, guidance, or other tasks during the week, please sign up on the application board.
For the opening of the house for house church meetings during this seminar, we will not have a separate application process. We will place pastors in the house churches according to their needs and circumstances.
Word of the week
New visitors to the church can have a meeting with the pastor. The meeting takes place in the pastor’s office after the first service, and in the educational center after the second service. Before the meeting, please fill out a visitor card and inform the welcome team leader in advance.
