Cheongju Sarang Church’s Pastor Ahn Guk-cheol, along with 25 shepherds, shepherd’s wives, and church members, will visit Sydney Crystal Church for five days and four nights. Pastor Ahn founded the church in 2005 as a House Church, embracing non-believers who had lost hope due to difficult life circumstances. Through his ministry, the church has now grown into a model House Church. Currently, to support struggling church plants in Korea, they host the “House Church, Church Planting Seminar” four times a year. Hosting four seminars a year is no easy task.
Last year, Pastor Ahn spoke at the House Church Conference for Oceania pastors, giving great encouragement to pastors in Australia. This year, I intended to invite him again as a speaker for the Shepherds’ Conference, but instead, he made a heartfelt request:
"Pastor Song, my church members have never travelled abroad. Rather than me coming as a speaker, could you help my congregation visit Sydney Crystal Church? Of course, we will cover our airfare."
I could feel his deep love for his congregation, and I gladly accepted.
Whenever I speak with Pastor Ahn, he shares how excited and joyful his church members are about this visit, and he expresses gratitude to Sydney Crystal Church members.
Visit Schedule and Gatherings:
• Wednesday Prayer Meeting: Pastor Ahn will share his testimony and sermon.
• Tuesday Evening Shepherd & Shepherd’s Wife Fellowship: A time for learning and growth together.
How You Can Serve: We are looking for volunteers to provide accommodations for the visitors. Additionally, help is needed in the following areas: Meal assistance, Snacks, Transportation (pickups/drop-offs), Tour guides, and Financial support for meals.
