How should we use church facilities? Many people use the church facilities, but only a few take responsibility for cleaning and maintenance. While many speak as if they are the owners, their actions resemble those of guests. To properly care for and use the Lord’s church, please consider the following guidelines:
Firstly, please keep the restrooms clean. After using the restroom, make sure to flush and check that no mess is left behind. If the toilet is dirty, please use the toilet brush to clean it. In the men's restroom, since there are no separate urinals, please lift the toilet seat when urinating and be careful not to make a mess on the floor or surrounding area.
Secondly, please use church facilities wisely. Maintaining and repairing church facilities requires a significant portion of your offerings. While using them for necessary purposes is not an issue, carelessness and wastefulness result in the misuse of these resources. Please treat church property with care and respect.
Thirdly, please look back before you leave. There is no dedicated church caretaker. The pastors manage the facilities, and a few volunteers maintain them over the weekends. Unfortunately, we often find trash, leftover food, and unorganized spaces left behind. Food left in the refrigerator sometimes rots due to neglect, and uncleaned kitchen scraps attract pests. Additionally, doors are occasionally left open, and air conditioners are left running. Before leaving the church, please take a moment to look back and check your surroundings.
