Singles’ House church Camp "Utmost" (April 17th-19th)
In 2025, our church Singles’ house churches will unite to go on a Singles’ Camp. This camp will take place from Thursday, April 17th to Saturday, April 19th.
During the last Sunday service of 2024, our senior pastor delivered a sermon on the topic "Memento Mori!" (2 Timothy 4:6-8). He explained the offering of "libation" (a drink offering) in the Old Testament. A libation is the offering of wine poured out completely to God, and the message was that our lives should also be fully dedicated to God.
Hearing this message, I earnestly hoped that all the members of our community, especially the singles, would live such a life. Therefore, we decided to make the theme of this year's Singles’ Camp "Libation." However, considering that this word might be unfamiliar and difficult to convey its meaning, we have changed it to "Utmost." This means that in order for our lives to wholly give glory to God, we must live with our "utmost."
The Singles’ Camp will proceed as follows. First, during the two evening sessions, Pastor Song Young-min and Pastor Jeong Min-yong from HOPE Church will deliver messages. On the second day, there will be elective lectures in the morning and afternoon, where participants will have the opportunity to ask questions and engage in discussions. Additionally, testimonies and various programs will be prepared.
Please pray for this Singles’ Camp. Several VIP singles will also participate in this camp. We pray that through this camp, the Singles house churches will be strengthened, and that the participants will discover God's vision for their lives, making a commitment to live a life devoted to the kingdom of God.
For your information, a one-day café for supporting the Singles’ Camp will open this Sunday. We look forward to your support and participation. -Pastor Yoon Young-Ok-
