St. Paul who wrote to the Colossians clearly remembered his commission and had a distinct purpose for his ministry.
God had said of Paul, “Go! This man is my chosen instrument to proclaim my name to the Gentiles and their kings and to the people of Israel.” (Acts 9:15)
Paul knew who had called him and why.
How about us...?
We too have been called by God by His grace and we must know what He wants us to do.
And we mustn’t forget this-
“I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness.”
That God has called me to use me...
Passage: Colossians 1:24-2:5
24 Now I rejoice in what was suffered for you, and I fill up in my flesh what is still lacking in regard to Christ's afflictions, for the sake of his body, which is the church.
25 I have become its servant by the commission God gave me to present to you the word of God in its fullness--
28 We proclaim him, admonishing and teaching everyone with all wisdom, so that we may present everyone perfect in Christ.

3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
