In the name of a believer we sometimes rationalize ourselves and pretend not to know our faults. I didn't defile myself. But the figure of a believer must be seen not only in words but also in actions.
Because God expected good fruit, when He planted us as the best vine.
That is why we must constantly adhere to the vine's nutrients to get good fruit. Only then can we know that we are good vines and bear good fruit.
Today I hope to be a good vine and continue to obey and listen to God.

21 I had planted you like a choice vine of sound and reliable stock. How then did you turn against me into a corrupt, wild vine?
22 Although you wash yourself with soap and use an abundance of cleansing powder, the stain of your guilt is still before me,” declares the Sovereign Lord.
23 “How can you say, ‘I am not defiled; I have not run after the Baals’? See how you behaved in the valley; consider what you have done. You are a swift she-camel running here and there,
