What God wanted from the people of Judah was not various kinds of sacrifice or offering, but for His people to obey him.They had not heeded the words of God, and continued to follow their stubborn hearts that led them to the paths of sin
Lord, helps us live according to your will not our own, let us listen to your words and obey.
Passage: Jeremiah 7: 16-28
26 But they did not listen to me or pay attention. They were stiff-necked and did more evil than their ancestors.’
27 “When you tell them all this, they will not listen to you; when you call to them, they will not answer.
