Everyone can make ‘mistakes’. It happens. But what’s important is how we deal with it.
We must seek ‘forgiveness’ the moment we realise our mistake.
We must always try to put ourselves in other people’s shoes.
‘It was only a mistake...why are they overreacting?’
‘It was only a mistake...everyone makes mistakes.’
This is what the person who made the mistake would think, but the other person may not agree.
Today, God tells leaders and He tells us that we need the ‘humility’ to accept our mistakes.
‘If you sin unintentionally’, ‘please seek forgiveness’. The Lord will set us free.
Those who can admit their wrongdoings and seek forgiveness is a ’man of God’.
Passage: Leviticus 4:22-35
22 “‘When a leader sins unintentionally and does what is forbidden in any of the commands of the Lord his God, when he realizes his guilt
23 and the sin he has committed becomes known, he must bring as his offering a male goat without defect.
24 He is to lay his hand on the goat’s head and slaughter it at the place where the burnt offering is slaughtered before the Lord. It is a sin offering.
1. Did you think of Jesus when you woke up this morning?
2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
