The live goat was sent to the wilderness after it was appointed to carry all the sins that were committed by the Israelites. This ritual was done so that all the sins confessed by the Israelites were never to return them. Our God desires us to no longer carry the heavy burdens from the past and live a new life within him.
By the atonement, the sins from the past which already forgiven needs to be venturing abandoned in to the wilderness and should be completely out of the way. Then we may live the life of accomplishing today’s faithful race.
Bible passage:
Leviticus 16:11-22
20 ““When Aaron has finished making atonement for the Most Holy Place, the tent of meeting and the altar, he shall bring forward the live goat.”
21 “He is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites—all their sins—and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the wilderness in the care of someone appointed for the task.”
22 “The goat will carry on itself all their sins to a remote place; and the man shall release it in the wilderness.”

2. What is God’s message to you?
3. What do you need to obey?
4. What are you grateful for today?
“The sacrifice of a live Goat for the sins of people”
Aaron is to lay both hands on the Goats head, and all of Israel’s sins have been converted to the Goat, and is then let out into the wilderness. This way, all the sins that the Israelites have commited, could not return back to the people. God does not want us to live with the burden of our own sins, instead he wants us to live a new life. If we have been forgiven through our atonement, I hope that we can all become people who leave our sin in the past and wilderness, and cut them off, disconnect with sin.
