The owner of the vineyard promised the labourers a denarius and brought him into the vineyard. After that, the owner got the workers who were still playing in the marketplace and put them into the vineyard. They were paid the same wages as the workers who came first and the labourers who came first resented the owner for what he had done. Heaven is a place where all those who have been invited by God come in and enjoy the grace of salvation. You have to first come in and enjoy the grace of salvation, but if you don't, you may feel it as unfair. However, we must live a life of gratitude and joy for God’s grace for saving us sinners and have the same desire as our Heavenly Father to save souls. I hope we can throw away the eyes and mind of resentment and do God's good will.

12 ‘These who were hired last worked only one hour,’ they said, ‘and you have made them equal to us who have borne the burden of the work and the heat of the day.’
13 “But he answered one of them, ‘I am not being unfair to you, friend. Didn’t you agree to work for a denarius?
14 Take your pay and go. I want to give the one who was hired last the same as I gave you.
15 Don’t I have the right to do what I want with my own money? Or are you envious because I am generous?’
