Paul, who was unable to stop worrying about the Thessalonica Church, could not bear it, and sent Timothy there. Then Timothy sends good news to Paul that the Thessalonica Church members were living with faith and love in the midst of hardships and tribulations. Through Timothy’s good news, Paul received lots of comfort. And so it says, “For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.” (verse 8)
Through a believer living out their life of faith, other believers can receive great comfort and encouragement. And through this, other souls that don’t believe are able to live.
What kind of life are we living? I hope you will be able to have a time of deep meditation on what kind of life of faith we are living.

7 Therefore, brothers and sisters, in all our distress and persecution we were encouraged about you because of your faith.
8 For now we really live, since you are standing firm in the Lord.
9 How can we thank God enough for you in return for all the joy we have in the presence of our God because of you?
